Teachers i remember those days our principals was
Zahid hussain, he was very strict, later Ghazanfar ali tookover from
Zahid hussain retirement.
I was student from sixth class onwards, till I completed matric in 1958. Cant forget those days. It was the best school in town as one brother and sister had earlier topped in matriculation. Zahid sahib was a strict man . My memories mostly belong to Khwaja Moin sahib who was my urdu teacher . we used to have a military class too and one day we went to Karachi Airport https://www.paktive.com/Old-Airport_977EB00.html to receive Chou en Lai.
we will never ever have those sincere and devoted souls. I still carry my report cards. In Toronto I held a function of BYJ Old Boys , inviting Shah Baleeghuddin Sahib. it was the most wonderful period of my life. I wish to enter the school one more time and breathe the same air, and feel in my imagination the same people , same classes.

I graduated in 1975 living in USA some of my classmates visited my school BYJ last week: Life often pulls us forward, scattering us like leaves in the wind, yet the threads of our past remain deeply rooted in the soil of memory. It is in revisiting places like BYJ School, where we once laughed, learned, and dreamed, that we reconnect with the essence of who we were. These moments hold echoes of innocence, ambition, and the friendships that shaped our hearts. The story of your visit is a poignant reminder of how time transforms not only places but also ourselves. Though the school building may no longer stand as it once did, and familiar landmarks have faded or been overtaken, the memories of those days are indelible. The lone tree still standing, bearing silent witness to generations, feels like a bridge between what was and what is—a testament to the endurance of the past in the face of change.
