At present performing as Manager AP. I have the deduct Income Tax from the payments on daily basis . As per Rule 153 I am deducting income Tax on each and every bill for purchases by the departmental commettee @ 3.5% and remitted to Income Tax department on monthly basis. Whereas the authorties are of the view that there is exemption of Rs 50000.00 for deduction of income tax ie Upto Rs 50000.00 No tax will be deducted and after Rs 50000.00 it will include all the amount taxable please clarify ASP.

Salam: can any one tell me that a company awarded a project of supply installation of airconditiong equipment (imports equipment itself) will be elligilbe for sales tax deduction. if not kindly quote me some referance or letter of intimation From CBR.
