This is a good limited hospital which was initially established as National Institute for Handicapped and later on probably in renamed as National Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine. This limited hospital has a good facility for Orthopedic Surgery under supervision of Dr. Abid Niazi (MBBS, FCPS, Ilizarov). Here a lot of patients come from all over Pakistan esp Kashmir, NWFP and local area. Hospital has facility of Paediatric Surgery (Dr. Iftikhar Jan - a very good surgeon), Physiotherapy, Eye diseases and ENT as well as Radiology and Laboratory.

I am resident of Kashmir, i came here for my treatment of my leg bone infection. Here Dr. Abid Niazi (orthopedic surgen) treated my very nicely and after a long treatment with frame (ilizrof) i am now able to walk nicely. I am thankful to Dr. Abid Niazi and his team doctors for all this.

A small hospital meant for handicapped but some dishonest people in administration like Fazal Moola and doctors like Zimri had made this hospital place for corruption and money making. I advise everyone to stay away from this hospital.
