North Nazimabad Block A, Karachi

North nazimabad is a very well planned and beautiful locality. it has commercial areas and residential areas clearly designated. it was originally called taimuria. some interesting sections of this neighbourbood are DeSilva, Haidery, Board Office, KDA, Sakhi Hassan, Pahar Ganj (which is a hilly area and can be developed into a nice picnic spot). there are many communities of people, mohajirs, punjabis, sindhis, pathans, ismailis, aga khanis, memons, bohris, gujratis, etc.

i want to tell cdgk that roads of north nazimabad specially beyond block t is so so rough and not in a condition to drive in car . it is like that we are living in village. i want to tell to the government that take action on it. no street lights and no green belt in this area. it is located at near sakhi hassan chorangi.

I have always liked this vicinity as its by far the best area to live.Its a planned locality with almost all the necessities of life.

The meeting point of Block Five, A, and B is booming as of April. We have a strong sense of community intertwined with a zealous knack for business. The culture here is very conservative. Our sense of dignity is obvious in the cleanliness of our streets. Previously known as Golden Gate, the Matric Board Office area now boasts modern amenities such as a luxury high rise apartment building, imported goods supermarket (Imtiaz), export quality butcher (Meat One), and banks galore.

We harbor the largest Pizza Hut in Karachi sitting beside Dilpasand's bar-b-q pit. Many masjid and hospitals adorn the Block 5-A-B area of North Nazimabad. Water shortage has never been a reason for complain during the past 30 years of my family's residency here. Crime is relatively low, besides the fact that we have 4-6 hours of blackouts daily. Pahar Ganjh is a constant eye sore. The Rangers' Complex here has a clean swimming pool during the harsh summers. The only decent gym around here is in Hyderi, though. There are no formidable universities in the area either. The only good "formal" restaurant is Largess, between Hyderi and 5 Star Chowrangi; other than that, there is Copper Kettle by the National Stadium.
