Shadbagh was a lovely place to live. I've lived there for two decades before going abroad. I still know few people who have been living now for the third generation [since mid 50s]. Anyone of you who still remembers our Junior Model School [now girls only school, I guess] and wants to share memories - contact my email . I still live in Shad Bagh, although not much developed but i like the area because here i have great memories of my childhood.especially playing in the streets with all including sisters, brothers and street friends.

I�ve lived in Shad Bagh from early 60s till mid 70s when I moved abroad. I have lovely memories of my childhood in Shad Bagh. The Gol Bagh. I still remember Junior Model School [which later became a girls only school]. I lived very close to Habib Bank in D block. In my time there used to be a �Firdoos General Store� these guys would sell everything from grocery to school text books. There was clinic run by doctor Jameel � I do not know if he is still alive. There was a �Papay di hatti� on the corner. I remember a milk & yogurt shop �Paa Bashir� we used to go to his shop early in the morning to buy yogurt and there was always a big queue. shad bagh has spread manifolds .many other localities have been included in it. it is marvelous as it gave shelter to me. here every class can survive. I have many memories of my childhood with my late cousin abid javed. he studied in junior model school. I used to visit Lahore shadbagh in summer vacations as I lived with my parents at hafizabad. mehmood hussin has refreshened my memories of old time when papa general store nd bashir milk nd dahi which still exist was our loving places besides a goal bagh 4 morning walk nd a play ground. it was a fun to ride 10 # omini bus. many things have dia ppeared nd so many added.
