I am an engineer since a long time and working in the UAE. I passed out from Gov. Technical high school in nineteen seventy eight. I miss my school times, colleagues, teachers, especially Mr. Nishat Alvi, Mr. Ali Muhammad, Mr. Aslam Qureshi and Mr. Aslam. I'm trying to look for my batch friends, and would greatly appreciate help. I even attended the Old Boys association in Arts council in Karachi, but met only our senior batch. Joined THS in NH sixty five,matriculated in NH seventy.Subjects studied at school,like tech drawing,applied electricity and metal/wood works were very helpful during civ engg and 27 years long service in Army Corps of Engineers. Nobody include Jahangir Bhai Chholay wale and Shareef Bhai Faloda wale who remember me after 10 years when I visit School . Well! Really glad to see the web site, all the memories got re-fresh today, I cannot forget those red letter days of my life. I have started with THS since and finished . Another deep association of THS is my father "Aqil Hashmi" who is no more with us (RIP). I am doing my own indenting business of Textile machinery form many European companies. I would love to see my best friends Kashan Ahmed & Ashfaq Ahmed. Whenever I have got opportunity to go Sadar, I deliberately take the way to cross in front of the school, but this action always make me sad to see the blemished condition of the school. I'm from nineteen seventy nine batch and thank Mr. Samsam Ali Khan who is eleven years my senior at THS, for telling me about the annual dinner that I was honored to attend Nov. One, twenty fifteen. I was really overwhelmed to be among so many seniors but unfortunately could not find my classmates at X-E, except one. Hope to get in touch with some in the future if luck would have it. I felt really bad to see school limits cut so much.

The Syllabus / Curriculum of Matric (Industrial Arts Group -1963) and Matric (Technical-2000-2001) clearly indicates the Aims & Objectives. If we will read, then we will accept the importance of "Skilled Worker" in the field of engineering / engineering profession.
