I need to know about eyes. Iam and my family is in Karachi my father has very week eyes he can;t see easily in left eye he has total detadhment and inhis rigth eye it was freze to prevant it from any other damage in hisrigth eye frm left eye he can;t see but in his rigth eye thereis little visio . In this particular visit my mother was carrying a bag which contained some valuables like cash amount Eighteen Thousand Rs and other things which she left when she departed from the hospital. Administration of Shifa International Hospital needs to check why so many people coming to Shifa with minor problems get admitted to wards and 1- How many of them are moved to ICU. 2- How many get ICU acquired infections? 3- How many survive those infections? 4- What is the mortality rate of their ICUs? 5- What is the frequency of complications of surgery at Shifa? 6- What are the reasons behind that much higher rates of failure.

They are just making money through selling death and disease. Any doubt about it? Just spend a day with their in-patients and their attendants. Or looking into medical records of patients may be an eye-opening experience for anybody. Deadly combination of administrative problems and their un-trained, inefficient and highly careless medical staff has really turned it into a nightmare for patients as well as their families. Beware of their secrecy policy that is quite dangerous for the patient and only provides a cover-up to their criminal negligence. While admitted to Shifa, you can never monitor progress of medical treatment or expenses.

I want to say about shifa international hospital that when they needs pharmacutical companies for funds.They wellcome them and when pharma companies required their support they are not giving any response and also forget all supports given by companies.Now a days they are trying to stop Med reps visits in hospital.why? who have given them right to play with Med reps jobs? As a med rep i have support shifa in terms of money, free tests, discounts,and advertisement and also given free samples and also given foreign study tours to doctors but now they banned us. why?

Shifa Int Hosp is very high profile hospital in Pakistan and tries to deliver best out come for their patients on all levels.one of the segment is medicines. Its unfortunate that some of the top class consultants dont give time to pharmaceutical companies. I want to know from them its a medical representative who inform them about latest medicines and their availability in pakistan. If u dont give time to pharma companies u will never come to know which new medicine is available and when u dont know this u can not pass on maximum benefits to ur patients. U MUST THINK ON IT PLEASE ITS FOR YOUR PATIENTS.
