I took my mother to sheikh zayed hospital, after recieving the wrong treatment we decided to transfer her to the National Hospital, our doctor who is the Ex-cheif of the hospital Dr Zafer Iqbal got someone in high position to call and cancel the transfer! My mother passed away (RIP). I came across many family who had the same problems as us. The doctors did not know how to do there jobs and were inducing all sorts of antibotics in there patients bodies without having to find the reason to there illness. Since Zardari pakistans president came on the board of sheikh zayed hospital 2 years back, the hospitals standards have dropped and the death rate have increased. That hospital is running a money making scam. I pray to Allah that those Bast**ds get punished for there humanity.

My mother is suffering from liver tumor. She went rhough a surgery in Feb '09 and susequently TACE in May '10. The issue is regrowth. Doctors have again advised her to go for TACE but unfortunately the hospital machine is out of order. Please guide if TACE facility is available at SZH and approx expenses. Also let me know if liver transplant is the the other option and whther the same facility is available at SZH. Waiting for your responce. Regards,

My motherhas been suffering form hepatitis C , diagnosed for two years . Injections were given but failed. Last year tumor was detected in lever of size four CM .SKM doctors decided to perform TACE, july(last year) .After TACE growth of tumor stopped .Medicines given by them are continue .But now for fifteen days she is again feeling pain .Ultra sound has shown tumor of five CM(regrowth of tumour). Although i am engineer but can not afford foriegn charges.Currently I am pleased to see/hear the news that sheikh zayed hospital has got liver transplant facility. @nouman.....my mother is suffering from the same problem....as far as ive consuulted different doctors ive figured out that liver transplant is not done in pakistan....ppl say its done in shk zayed but its not!.....the only countries dat do liver transplant at a minimal cost is india or china but even thr da success rate is not dat gud.....if u want u can consult Dr kashif malik he sits in liver n gastro care in shadman.....hez one of the best drz ive come across so far in terms of knowledge and conduct. I hope dis helps out otherwise in agha khan uni thrz dr zaigham abbass who is gud in suggesting liver transplant donors/ ppl who get da operation done abroad, but do consult Dr kashif malik hez really gud. i hope ur dad gets better!
