My grant of Pakistan citizenship is delayed because the Ministry of Interior has not received a response from ISI. All other agencies have responded. Ministry of Interior File Number: 4/19/2016 CITZ Ministry wrote to you on 10/06/17, 21/07/17, 20/10/17, and 11/12/17 with the same request. Also I sent a request to the Director General, Lieutenant General Naveed Mukhtar , on 20/12/17 respectfully requesting that the matter be expedited. Nothing has happened. The Ministry of Interior has not yet received a report from you. All other agencies have submitted reports to the Ministry of Interior. I wrote to the Director General of ISI, Lieutenant General Naveed Mukhtar on the 20th of December 2017 requesting that the matter be speeded up but still nothing has happened. Further to my earlier comments regarding Ministry of Interior File No: 4/19/2016 CITZ, I can confirm that I was today visited by two ISI officers. Both were exceptionally professional and conducted their enquiry in a thorough and organised manner. The enquiry lasted more than two uninterrupted hours during which I was impressed by their interest in personal details and supportive documentation for verification purposes. The ISI officers were both honest and forthright, so I felt that I could trust them completely. I was told that they only received the Ministry of Interior paperwork two days ago. I believe them and can confirm that I have every confidence in ISI Pakistan. Rifait Abdulla 16 Feb 2018.
